These RF components provide a great transmission distance, which enables the user to control temperature in a wide area wirelessly. This is especially useful for retrofit systems as no cables need to be run which can be expensive and difficult in most homes.
The RF components are then connected to the internet via a gateway which connects wirelessly to the home internet. The gateway is simply plugged into a socket and again does not require any expensive or disruptive cabling to be installed.
