Heat Pumps

When building your home, it can be a tricky decision trying to decide what method of heating you are going to use. Heat pumps are a great way to heat your home and are excellent for keeping energy bills low. An environmentally friendly alternative, they greatly reduce electricity consumption and allow you to save much more than if you were using a traditional oil or gas heating system.

An air source heat pump is a system which transfers heat from outside to inside a building, or vice versa. Like all heat pump systems, it works through the compression and evaporation of a refrigerant. The refrigerant undergoes variations in temperature as it goes through the system between liquid and gas. An air source heat pump uses a refrigerant system involving a compressor and a condenser to absorb heat at one place and release it at another.

Here at Plumbmaster, we recommend the Samsung Air Source Heat Pump which is the culmination of years of research. It offers high performance Central Heating and Domestic Hot Water solutions for a wide range of properties. It is easy to install and importantly for your customers – easy to use.
